Agreed. Very nice.

Sure made my mouth water! Thanks for the post.

I like the Large Sizes......I will probably download and make a Collage Poster....LOL   Costco makes 16x20 for 5 dollars.......

Beautiful and delicious looking !
Is same size if you grow negronne in the low elevation Handarius?

@ All = thanks for support..
@ dust = From my experience, I plant Negronne in different elevation (60 metres and 800 metres above sea level); and the result is: higher elevation produce bigger fruit.

handarius:i plant my negronne in 8m above sea level so i will get the small one.do you get better taste on your big negronne?

@dust = where is your position / country..? My negronne on 800 m asl has produce fruit as bis as chicken egg; and the taste is not change (still sweet).

Nice.

So nice!

handarius,

Nice pictures of a fantastic fig !

Congratulations.

Any idea of the size/weight of these brebas ?
Here, even the brebas do not grow that big!  (it seems to me !)

Francisco

lampo,
Thank you, the size is as big as chicken egg and about 70 grams on weight.

handarius: Thanks for the information.

Best,

Tam, thank you...

handarius,

Thank you very much. You must give royal treatment to your figs, and that is very good!
cheers

Francisco

lampo,
Actually no royal treatment for my plant. It is grow naturally...

handarius,

Thank you, so your climate must be ideal for growing figs and your cultivation practises done by the book.
Congratulations
Francisco

I am about 350m above sea levels, so this comment thread made me interested in whether my elevation had anything to do with the size of my fruits.  It seems like I get my largest brebas from the branches that grew the most vigorously straight up.  60g brebas are a little larger than a chicken egg.  70g is definitely bigger.  70 or more grams tend to have more pith, and they don't stay as dense as the fruit gets bigger.

This is the pict of Negronne size, compare to egg

Shah8,

350 meter altitude will not have much influence, just for 'elevation above sea level' stand point.
However it may mean a particular place where the tree gets direct maximum sun hours, full aeration of the productive branches, i.e. good air circulation (very important), etc..
70 gram for a Negronne breba is very good and quite above the average in the Med places where it is between 40 gr and 60 gr average.

Francisco
