I picked this breba last night, this was the second one but the first one was picked too early. This fig was perfectly ripe and we ate it before I could take pictures of the inside. My tree is in a pot and is 3-4 years old. The flavor had a strong essence of fig with a slight berry flavor at the end. This is the first negronne breba I have had but I would say it is similar in flavor to the main crop just not as concentrated as the main crop.

Oh wow! That looks really nice. I have a negronne in a 3 gallon and another in a 1 gallon, nothing yet, can't wait.

Oh yeah I remembered that when I visited you earlier this Spring your wife was already testing the Negronne breba for ripeness.  She must really like figs!  No wonder you didn't get a chance to take a photo of the inside.  My spouse is a little more hesitant with figs but I think I can convert her yet.
