When my figs ripened last month, I share a few of the precious morsels with friends and co-workers who've never had a fig.  Some were skeptical thinking they would not like it - who knows why, people get a thought or feeling and that's it!  There mind is made up!

Anyway, after putting it in there mouths - eyes popped open with a WOW!! That is good!!

Never got around to getting some, no. The day (and fig) got away from me.

Don't worry, these figs are great even when unripe.  My PN can be eaten with relish more or less when there is only a little green and still firm.  They are quite a bit more awesome fully ripe, but waiting for complete ripeness is a fool's game.  Better to let serendipity and the unseen fig help you out there (if it's in the ground, of course).  A net is just fine for small potted fig...

That video is a hoot!  Never saw dogs eating anything off a tree like that!  There is no way you could be mad at them, they are just too cute for madness.

Don't feel too bad.  At least it is eaten by your dogs, not some unknown raccoons.

It is only going to get worse!

This week figs, next week someones cat, then comes someones dog.

Staffordshire Bull Terriers are not Pitbulls. They are a separate breed from the American Pit Bull Terrier. They are related, as are about 4-5 other breeds. That's like saying a German Shepherd is the same as a Belgian Malinois.

Allow me to make a few things clear. I have dogs and I am a dog person way before I am a fig person. Occasionally pictures of my dogs make it into pictures here. Instead of insulting me and my dog with ignorant statements I'd appreciate it if you'd simply not respond.
