Great looking roots, Richie.  I've just started using these types of bags.  Hoping for the same results.

I rooted cuttings in baggies with 100% perlite last year.  Despite being 100% perlite, my first batch was decimated by gnats.  The second batch I had considerable problems trying to remove the rooted cuttings from the bags.  I ended up cutting the bottoms of the sleeves while trying to hold the rootball together.  I put it into my container and surrounded the still entombed rootball with growing mix, then pulled up on sleeve.  I still had difficulties.  I think if I had to do it over, I would cut slits in the sleeve and transplant it whole.  Later, when the tree has had time to grow sturdier roots, bare-root and repot.

My preference is to root in a modified version of  my regular growing mix.  I do not put nearly as much expanded shale so the weight does not hang on the new roots when transplanting.

Good luck

Good job Richard, looking healthy!

Thanks guys. I haven't trans planted any yet. But i heard that the beauty of this method is to open at seams with bag laid on table and roots dont stick to sides. Richie

Strong work!  I hold the bag upside down and pinch the top mostly closed. The roots seem to break less than if the bag is open side up. I cut the bottom open then slit the side all the way to the top.   I make sure not to cut where the roots are.  I do it over a bucket to catch the falling perlite.  Then I pot up in to a waiting pot already partially filled with dampened soiless media.  I gently fill the rest of it with the media and watch it grow.

Thanks buddy. I didnt get full directions of when its time to take out and how. Thanks again

Yeah, we all learn as we go.  I want your plants to thrive so I'm telling you  :)  I'd hate to see all your hard work be lost.

Richie,
they look amazing.
I did all Perlite 100% this season (after reading Richards RichinNJ's rooting method), didn't lose any...but had to water every 3-4 days. Watering means, fill the cup with water and carefully empty it again... just to make the perlite rinse and get wet.

I'm starting to pirate them under cool sun every other day or whenever I can, at sunsets..to make them more dense growing and leaves seem to get darker too.

Thats a good idia start getting them use to the sun i still have a bunch of cutting in refrigerator. Sad not sure whats all in there. Lol. .

There is no harm in exposing roots in a clear cup to direct sun? I have been wanting to put my cups outside but I was worried to harm the roots visible along the container.

Daramus. Ask rcantor. About the process. I know what i do is put them in morning sun light when its still cool. Then when mid morning comes move them to indirect sun light. Eventually the will be sun hardened. They are small and tender. Like a baby skin. Burn easily compaired to adult skin. I give mine morning sun. And increase it and just watch whats going on. Do not just put in sun and hope for then best. Richie
