Nic pics Yue, the figs look very big with a big eye which is bad in our area.
Rains go into the eye and the fruits sour.  Looks like a great fig for dry places.
Does it need the wasp insect to make fruit mature?

You mention/guess it may be from a dry place.
On the 2nd picture I see what appears to be sugar canes. I didn't think sugar grows in dry places but more in a tropical type places. Not sure but this is my guess.

LOL Yue is my wife's name.  I thought other member was from China, too.  Too many Chinese name is Yue.

That is a different species of tropical fig. Maybe one of the ones talked about here, maybe Hong? It was discussed some time ago on the forum but I cannot find it, sorry.
Why no interior shots? Did you get to eat any? One looks like it would be enough for me!

These may very well be Ficus auriculata figs.

"Top Tropicals" in Florida, is selling seed for this species.  Look at the photos on the T-T web-site.  They note that these figs are popular because of the jelly-like substance they contain.

Unlike common figs, the seeds will probably grow plants that are true-to-type.

Just checked it online.. It looks very like "Top Tropicals", not common figs. Thus, I donot need to seek for its seeds. I will try to get branches of Xinjiang Fig which is said as the best fig in China.But I need you help ID it if it is the same as any figs in US. I do not want to waste time.

You can I.D. the the photo's source as possibly from/in China.

I zoomed in to a 400% resolution on the second photo. and you can see a bright red hat to the left, next to the vendor with Chinese lettering on it!
