New figs to me

Tasted for first time:

Deanna - ( light fig)- great creamy texture and sweet but needed a few more days for max flavor.
Black? ischia/Provence: obtained last yr from Fig Fiesta. Prolific tree. Incredible and different flavor. (Located at 4o'clock)
LSU Purple: bounty of figs this yr. Most dropped last yr. Awesome jammy fig flavor on most.

Yum Yum Yum. The pictures are mouth watering yet I cannot be sure.

Perhaps you should send a batch out so that we here in Philadelphia can weigh in.  Send enough for about 5 or 6 insane Fig Fanatics, so that collectively, we may confirm or contradict your findings.

Since you are a member of the forum, we will waive our testing fees.

I've got a lot of figs on the tree but few ripe ones.   Still waiting for Desert Kings.  Those figs have been on the tree for months.   When they are ripe I will trade you some ripe figs for a real deal Philly Cheesesteak.   If you are insane enough, why not visit here in the 110 degree weather and experience the good sun ripened figs.

Hi figfinatic,
That's a nice harvest. Congrats !
I like the big ones, so Deana looks really good ! And so do the others as well, they look more honeyly .

Where are you located? I'll even throw in some soft pretzels if the figs are good lol

Those figs look very good.  Congrats.  LSU Purple has improved dramatically in my yard this year.  The figs have been very tasty.  In previous years they were bland and even had an off taste.  Is your LSU Purple in a container?  I wonder if a containerized LSU Purple will start producing good figs earlier than an in ground tree?  Maybe the in ground tree wants to keep developing its roots and the fruit does not get as much attention from the tree, but in a container the roots are restricted so the plant puts all its energy into the fruit right away?
