New greenhouse

I've been busy this year, renovating an old farm house and building a new greenhouse.
It will be sad to leave behind our existing house along with 100 unusual fruit trees in ground, hoping to get new owners that appreciate figs and fruit.

Here's my new greenhouse, it's almost running.

WOW, How cool is this! ..and the rainbow, make it Picture Perfect :)

Looks nice, Bass.  Hope you can find equal success with repairing your back so you can carry on your work.

Thanks for sharing Bass. Nice set up! How big is your farm?

The original farm was over 200 acres, the lands were all divided up and houses were built around it, only 1 acre is left. I'm bringing it back to farming.

Nice Green House.

Bass,
Congratulations and Good Luck!
Looking forward to your next get-together : )

That is very very nice, I'm really happy for you.

Looks good!
What size is it?
I'm guessing 20 X 40??

That's awesome Bass! All the best to you.

Well done, Bass.  Best of luck!

That's very nice Bass

My congrats to you Bass.
A drastic move must be done while one is still young (and full of energy).
Where about are you now?

Congratulations!  I bet installing the rainbow was a lot of work  :)

There's got to be *someone* on this forum that wants to buy your old place.  71GTO was looking for a new place in NJ, maybe PM him.

Bass,
Congratulations and looking forward to your next fig meeting...

Beautiful!! My guess 24ft by 48ft maybe 20x48. Should be great for figs or anything else. Is that single layer poly on top?

I'm growing figs, blueberry, blackberry, raspberry, citrus, peach, pluot, apricot, sweet cherry, persimmon, grapes, kiwi, and best of all nectarines in mine. You could do the same but that might not fit the business plan.

Gorgeous spot!  Good luck with your new adventure!

Bass ,

That is a very nice greenhouse.
Congratulations

Francisco

That greenhouse is a thing of beauty

Bass: Very nice greenhouse, thanks for sharing. I see a nice size and healthy fig tree in front of the your greenhouse. Does it in a pot or in the ground. You did a good job in protecting it in the last winter.

Best,
Tam

Thank you, it's only 3 miles from my current house.
I'm already a trouble maker in the neighborhood for having a couple chickens running around. The neighbor freaked out the chickens were walking on her lawn, and reported me to the township. Apparently she didn't notice all the wild turkeys, pheasants, deers, coyotes, and all the wild animals in the neighborhood walking on her property. :-)

Your old house is worth buying just for the edible landscaping!  Good luck.

I love the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
The GH seems to be of polycarbonate with an extra top layer of sheet plastic.
Is this the same air layer contraption as you had before?

Contain your nice chickens within some fence  --- and get a rooster to go along as an alarm clock ...
Alternative: Once in a while, offer a few delicious organic eggs to your neighbor(s).

Best wishes Bass.
I hope you enjoy this new greenhouse as much or more than the one you are leaving behind. Just keep the good memories of the old place to enjoy....

Very nice indeed. You have enough land to keep you busy for a good while now.
