Is it too early to tell? This is from my white adriatic fig tree. We are midway through the last month of Spring. (Victoria Australia)
Most likely vegetative. A fruiting bud would be right next to a vegetative bud.
Thank you pitangadiego.I checked again and snapped another photo. There appears to be 2 buds right next to each other. I assume the larger bud is the vegetative one? Thank you.
Hard to say at this point.
A little update. I counted 2 growth buds and 3 figs. one is slightly damaged but it might make it though.
