new idea on use of fig.

so i was reading JD's post and he mentioned sushi. i'm thinking fig sushi. slice of fresh fig on top of sponge cake soaked in esspresso with slice of stilton in the middle. maybe drizzle with light honey dressing or some sort infused with raspberry to high light the taste of the fig. maybe sponge cake is not a good sub for the rice.. hmm..

Not sure you could call this fig sushi, but it sure sounds like a delicious appetizer!
