Soni, Fig Malaysia do have a lot of varieties but most of them are imported ones from Spain, portugal, italy, japan etc. we do have local varieties but they are not ficus carica. They are f.racemosa, f.auriculata. We have a fig group here trying to graft the imported varieties to the local ones. Growing figs in malaysia is still very new. But nevertheless the imported varieties seem to grow pretty well here. You may say we are still at infancy stage. At the moment I have Black mission, red libya, green and purple jordan, calimyrna and long yellow. They are hardly 3 weeks old.
