I am new to this forum. I have been growing figs for 3 or 4 years. A friend from work gave me a rooting cutting from his grandmother's tree in NJ. I did a little research and found out that there were numerous people growing figs around me. I bought some cuttings and had no issues rooting them in my orchid greenhouse but lost the cutting while moving. I'm now growing in NC and have already seen many fig trees growing. My original fig tree is still alive so I'll see what it does down here.
