Hello! Have been reading as many forum posts as I could in past couple of weeks. Didn't realize there were so many fignatics out there. Didn't realize I was one. I've frozen back quite a few local nursery figs over last few years. Got new ones this year from a local fignatic and if I get them through this winter it will be from the tips I've gleaned from the forum. Thanks. I do have cuttings going in case I blow it (-8. In ground I have BT, Celeste, BkW, Carini, Ventura and HC. I have in one gal pot a JH Adriatic that is going in the garage for the winter. Plan this time is to wrap trees with frost mats, build a cage around each, mulch and then a tarp or plastic around them. I'm on the boarder of zone 7A/B. May be overkill but after last winter probably not. Any suggestions would definitely be welcome.

Welcome to the forum, Greg!  The extra care is worth it.  I'm lucky enough to keep my pots in an unheated garage that lingers around 45-50° throughout the winter.

Couldn't agree more you can never be too safe
