Hello Everyone i am new to this forum.  Last year I bought 2 fig trees and now I'm hooked I bought some cuttings off ebay. Some of them might be from this forum.  I'm currently rooting LEBANESE BLACK/PURPLE FIG TREE, Dark Portuguese, Negretta Fig.  I live in Oklahoma and they do well here.  Just wanted to say hi and i really enjoy reading the forum.

  Welcome aboard, Smitty...   The forum will be a great resource to help prevent you from buying misrepresented cuttings off of Ebay.  By querying the members here about the reliability of known Ebayers, it'll go far to reduce the sting of growing out a cultivar for months to years, and only then discovering that the cutting was not as stated.  

I bought Negretta from 71GTO. I think he is on this forum

   You should have received the cultivars that you bid on then...  he has old-school ethics and taste in vintage iron ;-)
