Claims to import some of the fig plants .
Some of the nicer dark types

Sultane
Noire de Caromb

Coll de Dama Negra

Has light color figs as well that i not mention for those interested you can call

Thanks.
Are you testing our patience for the link or the nursery had very limited quantities...

Martin is going to sell that link as a "buy it now" auction on eBay. He is going to make lots of money from us fignuts. Just kidding.......

I think Martin is using today's date for playing a joke

I think you are onto something DWF

Kerry got it and he wins all of Martin's dark figs.

Here is picture of Sultane i just bought, the nursery is local and i just came back with plant.
They had a only a few of each type CddN i have and The Caromb i currently am rooting one.
The fella told me they will be getting some more in next month .

Martin,

Do they carry any polka-dot figs or the ones that bloom (flower) through the eye?

I called and they said they have new rare fig.  It is a white fig that turns orange in color and develops thin black stripes when ripe.  The figs ripen in late October.  Some call this new rare fig the Jack-o-lantern fig.  It has a sweet pumpkin figgy taste.

Photo below but mine of course not the dreaded white type fig but a dark type of fig.

Also in reference to a thread "Get Yourself a Green Greek Fig" with smiley faces in thread Snaglpus hit it on the head when he said
Martin won't even take a second look at this fig.  Hehehe

and another poster won't mention no names <DAN>
Should Martin ever eat a Col De Dame white or a Smith fig..........he will have a better appreciation for a white fig.
Um dont need none of those types mentioned
after all i have the dark version of Co De Dame plus other fine dark types. ; )
it was shown in post #7 thats not a Sultane, i switched tags from Sultane to the coll to make it look more worthy of April 1st posting  ; ) which i also have but bigger coming out of dormancy in home along with that Coll that i just repotted this morning into a 1.72 gallon pot and will go into a 5 gallon later this year as it grows.
Mind you if i ever receive anything thats not of the dark type it would get promptly put in its burial place. So there are no hard feelings ; )
Enjoy the Pictures !

I've seen you pull the tricks before (like that baboon butt looking fig!)

Herre is inside of bamboon butt looking fig , this fig looks like crap though and taste like it when not properly ripe in my climate.
Picture taken very late in season here September 28th, 2008

This really did get me.I should've read the last post but really just wanted to order the figs before there were sold out LOL.I really thought you did a great job Martin.

Rob Rob Rob,

Some of those are Giovanni's fig from his yard in South Philly.

Show your own figs babe and if there green i keep silent and not make fun of the color.
