Always happy to see someone enriching our knowledge of figs!!

Jon, you know no one can compete with your website and pictures as well as your knowledge. 

It's always interesting to see the same fig look way different when grown on other coast.

Ultimately. understanding the mysteries of figs will be a community effort. The internet just gives us opportunities to share and exchange ideas that previous generations could have only dreamed of. That quest for exchange led to groups such as California Rare Fruit Growers and the North American Fruit Explorers, but they were limited to infrequent in person meetings and their ability to finance small-quantity publications. Consider the benefits of digital pictures today, over film of just a few years ago. Ten or 15 years ago none of us was in a position to have a website. Now dozens of fig lovers are have sites that share information. Awesome.
