New to Figs4Fun!

Hello everyone! I am new to this forum and just wanted to say "Hi" and tell you a bit about myself..
I grow citrus, tropical, subtropical fruit and had some fig cuttings I had started and other plants.  That is I guess , used to, until a neighbor was burning something and walked away when it got out of control.. Poof! House, garage and all my plants and belongings up in smoke along with my 14 acres!! Trying to get back on track and get my collection going again and then I found you!! What a neat place you all have!! I'm going to enjoy myself here once I figure out how to navigate..

Welcome, and sorry to hear about starting over. I can't even imagine what I would feel like if I lost all my plants.

Sue, welcome to the site. I can relate a little as I lost a lot to a hurricane last year but not all. I'm sure many here will help as possible to get you a collection going again. You say you had citrus and subtropicals so I a have to assume you're in Florida or CA. Blessings be with you and your endeavors to get it back together again. "gene"

I am in Indiana and have grown citrus, tropicals, subtropicals etc. for over 25 years now... Most of my plants were at least that age, and had fruit hanging on them.. My Cacao's were just starting to blossom.. Such a loss! Sorry to hear about your losses in the hurricane.. I know that can be really tough too! Thanks!
