New trees potted up

Think I might of potted up to fast and didn't let them adjust they stressed the first day but now seem to be doing better.
Guess my day going to be cleaning up again.

I like the nursery pots - I've been looking to try to find some either new or used, but shipping is usually as much/more than the pots.  Trying to find some local, but not much luck.

They look like they're doing ok.  My col de dame drooped for a day after I went from a cup to a pot, but its been doing fine, and some new leaves are coming.

Go to your local supermarket and ask them to save you the pots that they get their fresh cut flowers in You need to go to the right dept. and speak to the person in charge. Don't just ask anybody they won't know what you want and don't care. Then just drill drain holes

Another tip,

Living in a big city I usually have luck finding nursery pots.  In spring there are landscapers planting trees and flowers around town. If I happen to see them I just stop and ask if they have any pots that I can take away.

Try your local Hydroponic store. Most of the good ones carry them. I purchased 100 ( just under a gallon) pots for around $30 plus tax.

A good source, online, is http://www.growersupply.com/ I like the blow-molded ones. The thin sides make getting the plant out, later, real easy. Many Agricultural Supply houses carry pots as well, but they generally sell to the commerical trade, so don't advertise to the retail consumer, though they are happy to sell to you.
