New Years Eve Morning Figs

After seeing Martin's beautiful pics my mouth started to water and I couldn't resist any longer. I went out and picked these few and left at least 2 for New Years Day to bring in the New Year. I Want to Wish All a Happy and Fruitful New Years.

Sal , beautiful way to end the year !
Now when the family comes back from Florida and brings back camera i can show a little snow just no figs least not any with leaves !

Thanks for posting the pics Sal sure made my mouth water lol. Happy New Year

Awesomely delicious.
Thanks for the pic's. Happy New Year to all fig friends.

I'll take the figs over champagne!

Beautiful pics

Thanks to all. I think my figs get confused this time of year. the weather could be low 80's and high 60's  at night. or 50's and low 40's for short period of days and nights.  Trees are starting to drop leaves and then I look and see new growth. Not much I can do but hope for the best and enjoy what they give me.

Paul let me know if you are driving down I might have something for you if interested.
Martin where in FL is your family visiting?
Rafed I might be able to enjoy some of both if I'm still up.
Sal

Hi Sal,
sorry never came back to this thread till now.
The marching band my daughters in will be in 1 of the Disney parades so they went to see her and enjoy the park as well for 4 days.
I dont like to really fly and im stuck at home babysitting my 3 dogs.
Now as i post this they came back of course and said the days were decent weather and the nights were cool at the time the highs here were 14 and now the snow is coming down some as i type this.

Too funny, Martin.

We're looking at snowshowers later tonight in Atlanta as well.  And a couple of days of snow are possible next week.  I was talking to my wife the night before last, and we agreed - we saw a wild ice storm 4-5 years ago, we got almost 8" of snow on the ground last year, but we have never seen the weather as cold as it is for this number of days consecutively for a decade or more.  I can't remember the last day it was over 45ºF, we haven't had a day above freezing in almost two weeks, and the weather hasn't been above 22ºF at night in .... almost the same amount of time.

My wife had to fly to Los Angeles for work yesterday.  She called last night to say, "the weather is really nice here, honey!  it's in the 70's all week!"

Ugh.  "thanks, babe! really wanted to hear that as the dog and i come back from our walks with icicles hanging off our faces!"  ;)

Hey Jason,

Maybe she'll bring back some fig cuttings! Hope you're well, holding down the fort in GA.

Peace,
Little John

Martin that's cool that they get to travel and have outside activities out of school. Was she on TV for the parade. The parades at Disney are great
especially during special times of year and certain promo events. My wife and her mom are Disney addicts. They both have yearly passes and visit about 15 times a year at least it's only 1.5 hr drive so around the corner to them. my mother in laws home is a Disney shrine and mine is slowly getting there.
Any hoot the figs on the tree are still there and I have picked a few but it has been down to 32 at night and my veggie garden is shot tomatoes peppers beans and eggplant all froze the collards love the cold. It started to warm up today and we have 1 more warm day b-4 we get cold again I'm hoping to pick 4-5 tomorrow for my B-Day treat.
