It is a beautiful, sunny day here in Yuma, Arizona! It's 60 degrees right now at 2pm which is actually a little cool for the date. This morning I went around checking my
little gardens and fruit trees and had a real surprise! Here is a pic from this AM.
This is a young Kadota Fig that I rooted last February from a cutting off a old tree an acquaintance of mine has. It rooted easily and was in the ground the end of April. It grew well last summer but I didn't expect this so soon. If we don't have a rare hard frost I may well have some kadota's before my usually dependable IBT that ripens brebas by late April here. sdpops
