This fig was perfectly ripe. Very jammy and sweet. Unlike the Negronne which are not ripening properly with the cool temps now and have a very thick skin now. The Ronde de Bordeaux was very sweet and thin skinned. This was the second and last one on the tree. The first one did not impress me but after having this one I can see the first was not ripe. Probably needed a couple of more days. I would rate this over Negronne here in New England in September. It produced a fig that Negronne produces when its hot.
