nice to meet everyone

Hi ,I'm  new to the forum, and I'm so glad i found it .I've already learned a lot .I bought my first fig tree late last year, about September. A brown turkey, which I planted in the ground. We had an exceptionally cold ,snowy winter with temps  well below zero and several feet of snow,(rare for Oklahoma) I was certain my fig was dead. when i dug it up, the roots looked good so i decided to pot it. After a while I spotted a few buds , I was happy it lived . Now it is exploding with growth and I'm thrilled.  I now have 6 fig trees including a kadota and a Celeste all in pots and doing well . I have re-potted all of them because they were root bound. should I put a limestone topdressing on them? Any other advice would be appreciated on how to keep them healthy  Thanks everyone .Bob

Bob welcome aboard yes a top dressing of lime and some slow release fertilizer is fine this time of year.
