Noire de Barbentane finally ripened. Here are pics from yesterday. A mildly sweet, rich meaty fig. It is very similar to Violette Sollies. Definitely a keeper for it's earliness and productivity in comparison to Violette Sollies here in Albuquerque.

Very nice Leon!  My Sollies finally ripened 3 last couple of weeks.  The main crop looks like it will ripen late Sept. or even Oct.

Glad to know that NdB performs well in your place. 
P. Baud always mentions NdB like an excellent fig. 
In my climate it is prone to splitting due to humidity. 
In any case, I am trying it on other less vigorous rootstock.
