Noire De Caromb And Jordan Figs

I got home this morning after a long night shift to these two beauties .

That Noire de Caromb looks gorgeous!  Love the elongated shape.

Thanks, Fig Jordan is supposed to be more reddish green with purple stripes, but this years cool summer is not doing it any favor.

They look really good.   Hopefully they taste as good as they look.  Yum

The noire de caromb was really good, Jordan was a bit watery as we had a lot of rain . 

Noire de Caromb is one of my best tasting black figs.  It use to be the fig to get!  It's kinda forgotten about.  But not here! 

When picked just right, you'd have to hold on to the fence when you eat one!

Vinny, is your Jordan fig posted above a breba?  I love that green color.

Here is my NdC breba ripening. Looking forward to trying this one... hopefully my main crop ripen this year too.

Hello Dennis,
Sorry for replying late , yes its Breba, main crop didn't have enough time this year. I need to up my game for next season lol. Its usually bit more darker with a reddish stripes but this cool summer didn't do much favor .
