Ed so sorry you are going through this now. Yes you only get one mother. God Bless her. Lost my mom years ago, still miss her. I put your tree right back in my car when Bass informed me of your situation.

Bass a great day. Thanks so much for hosting this again. I really enjoyed talking with everyone and meeting new people again this year. I was able to sit and talk with your wife for a while which was very pleasant, a very nice lady! And my son enjoyed the day as well. He had a ball with your kids. And wow!! Lots of plants!!!

Sorry Ed
I know what your going through! I went through that last year with my mother.
I will say a prayer.
Best regards.
Vito

Thanks Bass and lovely wife for hosting the 3rd NE fig meet.

It was like a very joyous family-get-together between FF members.

All attendee supplied food was excellent too.

Thanks for showing us around your nice garden full with many

various fruit trees (not just figs). Pity nothing was ripe yet.

Thanks for showing us how you root them green-twig figs.

Thanks for showing us how to use a Swiss made air-layering 'rooter-pot'.

Mind you, both shows admission ticket fees were free for all attendees!

We all had some very good laughs together; specially at the raffle-time.

I think that Vito, me and Debbie did some more of the 'clowning' around...

In the end, we all went home happily loaded with shared new figs and other items.

I was also very nice to see some more new FF member 'faces' there.

There is nothing better than to meet/talk/know any person face-to-face.

I first met with good Lou, Luke, Jason and Ricci....

Ed, we all missed you. All our prayers go towards your dear mum.

Thanks Bass, It was very nice, wish I could have stayed longer. Had a bar-b-que to attend which couldn't miss since I was the cook. It was nice to meet you and your wife. Also great meeting the members, really felt like a family get together. Shoot, I missed out on the raffle. I hate when that happens. I'll have to meet up with George (Mr. Malta) to check his figs out.

luke

You're welcome. I went with George afterwards on a fig hunting trip in town, that was nice.

Ed, Sorry to hear about your dear mum.

Great times

Wish I had stayed with you bass and Gorgi

I had a great time also, Ed, I am sorry as well.

Lou you cut me in half

I am very sorry that happened. I should have just told everyone that I had a camera and at least took a whole group photo showing everyone in attendance. I just thought some people might not want their photo taken. Many of the guys where looking at Bass’s trees in the back yard when I took those photos.

I just took those few photos just to show my wife what was going on at the event. She has been in Bass's yard many times.

I had a swell time epically meting all you people. I hope the trees you won grow and produce in abundance.

Thank you all for putting up with me.

Lou   NE  PA

Bass,

Thanks for such a wonderful time.

To my fellow fig members thank you. It was a Great event. Extemely wonderful to match up the faces to the names.

Was really good to see Debbie again.

Gorgi is too funny. Glad to have met you.

Dan, your a real class act. We will hook-up soon.

Barry, nice to meet you and to know that you are close by. Have to stop buy after work.

To the rest of the folks it was awesome to meet and talk to you

I wish more people could have made it. But I am sure that next time, it will be twice as many.

Ricci

Hope that rbd sucker takes off for you ricci and that's the first time I think any one has ever accused me of being a class act lol. Thanks buddy

And again bass Vito Lou and Angelo I am sorry about the pulpo

I'm sorry I missed this too!  I'll make an effort to get there next year.

Man....I really tried hard to attend it this year!  Is it usually around this time every year?  I need to think about hosting one of these for the SouthEast!  Maybe we could have 2 way VTC setup between the NorthEast and the SouthEast that way everybody on the East Coast could have one joint session!

If I host it in Charlotte, are there anybody in this area MIGHT consider coming?

Bass...

You gave us all a great gift...the opportunity to meet up with other fig growers and collectors.  How so very generous of you and your family to open up your home to us in genuine hospitality and friendship.

I could not attend but I was with all of you in spirit.

Thanks again Bass, and Family

Frank

Dennis,

I would come to a gathering in Charlotte.

My best regards,

Boris

Thanks Boris. Right now it's just you and I for next year.

Dennis,

You should start a new topic with regard to Charlotte gathering if you want to draw the attention of the members. Since Charlotte is on the border with SC, it could be a convenient place to come for members from SC and even for those from the north-east part of GA.

Will do.

Thank you, Bass and Family, for your hospitality.  My brother and I had a great time and greatly appreciate your hosting the gathering.  It was nice to finally put faces to names!  We really enjoyed it. Again, thanks.

p.s. too bad we didn't get to eat the octopus..we were so looking forward to it.  Thank you, Dan. :)

Vito and Angelo
