Hello guys,
I got this fig bush about 8 months ago and while I got it with another fig which is trying to put one fig, this has not even tried to put any. It is growing like a weed but with no sign of producing figs. I pinched it but this only resulted on it going to dormancy in summer... I got it for $1.3 and it was only one rooted cutting.
So I thought I might get some guesses from the forum members and we will see the variety when it fruits (Ill post the fruits if it started to fruit).
Ill give you what I know about it.
1) The seller told me it is a dark fig.
2) It is wide spread in my country and their cuttings are dirt cheap yet it is hard to find local figs in the market.
3) Its leaves droop in the summer as they wilt from the heat (my other figs do not).
4) fast grower.
5) likes to spread like a bush.
6) leaves have less perfume (compared to my other figs).
7) likes cooler weather (now about 28C-37C)

No need to be dead right just need to pinpoint the family of the fig, where is it from what it might taste like and like that :)
