NOT TAKING ANY MORE CHANCES

Hi all again,

It got cold here last night so after seeing my just acquired young pepper plants looking almost froze sitting under my roof over hang on a wooden table I decided after looking at the weather forecast for my area and just brought all my younger trees into the garage and the older ones -- well you can see what I did for them in the photos below. Just too heavy to move that many times.

The pepper and other young bedding plants I took indoors where they recovered after a few hours.

Lou,

That's  a good idea how you protected them. These late frosts have been bad lately in your area. Luckily I haven't had a frost at my place for at least a month or so.
I have over 400 trees outside, it's not convenient moving them or even covering them.
I will find out tomorrow if they will survive the frost.

Bass no frost last night--windy. Went down to 33 degrees. I'm keeping them covered - frost called for tonight.

Lou i dont blame you one bit , hope things work out for you and weather finally turns nicer.
