Great looking tree Marius , sorry it has to go. BUT your little guy takes the cake or fig - he's adorable !!

Are you throwing it out or referring to the dropped figs? Someone might have use for it.

Marius, if you don't mind me asking what were the other 3 that went to fig heaven as well?

  Thanks
   Pete

I think this fig needs to be pollinated (caprification). Mine produces figs but they are just synconiums with little pulp.
My tree is only 2 Y O and is quite an attractive tree but it seems that this variety needs the wasp or a skilled nurseryman who can deal with caprification. As Marius has the only other example I know of I guess I'll keep mine and try and figure it out.

Still, one of our many members in CA might want it.

Pete, the other three are:Wuhan,Black Ischia and Pastiliere(not Baud).

Burn baby burn !
My Rouge de Bordeaux better smarten up.

Is anyone interested in this fig?
If so please PM me.

I have a zuchino figtree for thee years, every year it is loaded with figs they get the size of cherries and one by one they all fall off, now it's making second batch and they will fall off too.
This fig will make the same trip.

I would be happy to pay flat-rate shipping if you would like to package up cuttings or pruned rootballs and send them my way. PM me if you still have plant material available. I will give them refuge in sunny California. :-)

Thanks for the info Marius, Black Ischia and Pastilliere I can guess why they went (fmv & fruit drop) Wuhan I was surprised to see on the list. Any particular reason?
