If you haven't heard about it, tune in to your local news or Fox/CNN. It is awful.

It is horrible, I tried to call my friends in Boston, the cell towers are overloaded and couldn't get through. I managed via Skype!

I have a co-worker who goes down to the Red Sox game just before the Marathon and watches the finish of the Marathon who was at the location of one of the bombings. His family and him had just left there to get on the subway when people started coming into the station and began talking about the bombings.

I know we are very paranoid of terrorism in this country but these types of incidents are rare here. Many parts of the world this is happening all too often.

It sucks that random civilians get caught in the middle of this crap.

Brings back thoughts of 9/11. I live about 5 miles outside NYC, I could see the Towers burning from my attic window. At the time my Dad was in Hackensack Hospital. The Hospital called around noon because they were discharging some patients early to make room for 9/11 victims. When we got there they had a huge triage set up outside waiting for casualties that never arrived.

This is sad indeed, but North Korea is threating.  I hope we can do something.

Well, this is a bad topic, probably not good for this fig forum, but sadly, nowadays many are being pushed to their limits-no jobs, taxes to pay- while the city provides homes to hundreds (low income -so called) but one should see the cars these so called low income park in front of their low income housing -   Remember Oklahoma- it was domestic assault. the marathon is meaningful to so many, my heart aches for them. My final thought is that violence only begets more violence- enough of it. We need to reinvent our world.

I can`t believe this happen again like one in Atlanta in 1996 killing innocent people. Who ever did this deserves the death penalty and the public execution.

Do these horrific events really surprise some of you?  Anyone remember the Benghazi Massacre?  What do you think John Kerry will do differently as Secretary of Defense, after the ineffective, and laughable, Frau Clinton?  This country will continue to be weak as long as we remain uncommitted to routing out, not deporting, and not executing terrorists.  Remember when the feckless, Attorney General  Eric Holder wanted to hold terrorist trials in New York City instead of using a Military Tribunal, and refused to try members of "The New Black Panthers" for voter intimidation?  The list just continues with this President, his administration, and present Congress.  My hatred for what this country has become is endless.

Folks...YOU elected them, now live under their imperious rule.

Frank

A very sickening event indeed!

Some coward/bad (half-brained) people should read
this article about both good moral-values and religion...

Don't you get it?   These fanatics are not interested in moral values, or religion.  They want to kill, maim, and terrorize...period.  They have no interest in human misery.  When caught and convicted, they should be executed. They don't need to be studied and analysed to find out what "motivates" them.  Enemies of this country, foreign and domestic, must be vanquished.
