The universe loves you!

Oh wow they all look sooo good !!

Pretty figs - nice variety.

Pears are gorgeous.

Excellent harvest. I'm hoping to get that many figs and pears in one day eventually.  Deer have moved into my area (overpopulation) and set back my asian pears by about a year.  Finally this fall I will put up a fence.

Steve

Nice!!!!!

Congratulation Marius:
When I heard of you growing fig trees in Ohio,I thought you have a harsher climate than me,but seeing your results ,and mine I can conclude your climate is better for fruits growing compared to mine here in NJ.
Especially this is true this Summer.!

You're right ,Herman,we have(had) a long summer with NO rain, compared with your NJ area.

What are the fig varieties? And what kind of pears?

Keiffer pears and figs from my trees:Black Madeira,Panache,Black greek,Nordland, yellow Lebanese,Napoletana Negra,Violet de Bordeaux,Sweet George,LSU Black and Violeta Bayernfeige.

Thanks for sharing Marius!  Looks delicious!  Can't wait for the day when I can post plates like that!

Pears are kinda dicey to grow here, some do, but there is something that looks like pears, and it's green/black, and makes really good guacamole!  They call it an Avocado!

Suzi

Suzi, one day you'll get bigger plates than mine, all you need is patience and love for plants...

Nice photo Marius! Is your season finished?

congratulations!!!

Heh, I only got one lousy fig on Sat.  There looks to be two more still on the tree.  It was a bit less than a week from ripe, but as usual, great.  Not that tart, but a really nice vegetal muskiness, like a good sun-ripe tomato, blended with the fig and light berry flavor.

More excited about the citrange.  The two fruits on that seems to be ripening, so they might reach full color before first frost down here.  Be cool if it turns out to be worth eating with as long a growing year as it had...

Nice looking pears Marius , what variety of pear? I will have Bosc and Conference Scion this spring for trade

:-)
