Two days ago at work I had a vendor in and it poured.
While we were talking over a fresh pot of coffee the vendor mentioned that one of the things that they wanted was a fig tree.
Of course my ears perked up and I asked why.
It turns out she was house sitting and they people had a fig tree.  They told her to use the figs which she did and they were very tasty and huge.
They tree is also quite large and quite old (40 plus years).
Growing somewhere up near Asheville, NC which is up in the mountains.
Then she pulled out a picture.  They are big figs!
So the next time she comes out she said she will bring some cuttings. Who knows maybe I will go out to see this tree myself.
Maybe this will be a really cool tree.  Should be fun no matter what.

Document  leaves, fruit, cut fruit, and the overall growth habit, picture of the entire tree :)
