Hello,
Most figs produce [2 crops], aka, fruit.
The fist crop is produced on last year (brown) wood and is called breba.
The second crop is produced on this year (green) wood and is called main-crop.
Some figs produce only [1 crop], the main-crop, (a classical example being the famous Celeste fig).
The BIG (and maybe simple and/or stupid) question is:
Does anybody know of any [1 crop] fig that requires caprification/pollination, aka the fig-wasp?
George(NJ).
