one for martin...

here is VdB.. oh.. a little green guy too :)

What a great pic.  That's a nice bushel of figs.

Cute scene. The green guy is patiently waiting for the Vdb to ripen.

My figs and rasberry plants are full of Japanese beetles, two-by-twos.

luv your pics, pete

In the past few years jap beatles have been horrible here in illinois. But I have yet to see even one this year on any of my plants.

The VdB looks great, I am waiting for my to ripen up. Never had one yet.

Pete Pete Pete...lol
One for Martin ?
Meh thats actually for you "One for Pete" , i been reading your threads and everyone elses thread i don't miss a thing here.
You , Shah, and a few others i see say there leaning as well or like dark figs better .

Little by little your leaning to the dark side as you have raved about how good VdB is and with good reason.
Pete Vdb and others do not take 3 years or more to taste good but some will slowly realize there wasting there time
and hard earned money on them white figs.
Come to the dark side .  ; )

All in fun.

That really is a problem with white (honey) figs, isn't it?  They really take time to make good fruit after it starts fruiting, compared to only LSU Purple requiring the same.

Pete what an awesome picture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Looks like the little green guy prefers the dark side...

yeah.. that little green guy is yoda gone wrong x)
