One F(r)IGN big Fig

jpegjpegjpegjpegjpeg

Just like I've been telling my wife for years bigger isn't always better.
That was the case with this fig 81 grams just shy of 3 oz. the taste and quality were disappointing after a week of heavy rains which probably contributed to it's weight. The sweetness was not there as it was watery and the flesh was rubbery and thicker. The two smaller figs were somewhat better but not by much. I'll take one small good one over 3 large of this quality any day. The black figs were not effected at all and were very good.

Thanks Martin I'm leaving them on an extra day or two and they are so much better.
