One Green World

Back in May I ordered a Peters Honey, Latarulla, and a Desert King fig from this place and was happy with what I received.  I follow this guy on YouTube and happen to see he did a video on this place.  Unfortunately they didn't let him in the greenhouses, but he does sample a Desert King fig from a tree on the property.  Desert King fig tree in Oregon

I really like the diversity of this greenhouse, but they are not very responsive to customer complaints. I ordered a Hardy Kiwi female which promptly died on me, so I wrote to them explaining and they did not respond at all. Even repeated attempts went unanswered.

Barry,

I ordered about four or five figs from them about four years ago and shipped as promised. All but one broke bud and when I emailed them they made it clear they do not replace or offer any Guarantee on their product but asked me to give them an update.

Luckily the one tree broke bud and went on to grow and only to die on me due to inexperience in Winter storage.

Due to the fact they do not back up their product even when shipped half arsed I chose to stay away from them.

I can't speak on them now, maybe they changed to better, or maybe worse.

Interesting read.  I've had my eye on this nursery because they seem to be the only one that carries Vern's Brown Turkey.

I ordered from them before and had no problem figs are not that huge but for 17 dollars its worth it shipping is about 10 for the first plant.I ordered a few quinces and a cherry tree they were very healthy and around 4-5 ft trees.Sara your fig will be around 2-3 ft just ask them for the largest one they have well branched goodluck.
