One Green World order

I received 2 figs today from the One Green World. The packaging was superb and the plants are nice too. The ruler is 1 ft for a scale. Just wanted to show what they ship, couldn't find anywhere before ordering.

Looks good.

I've purchased a few times from them and the plants have always arrived safe and sound. I like their shipping method.

I also got a blueberry plant, Sunshine blue. It came loaded with berries!

I have two sunshine blue blueberry plants and I love them :)

What did you order?

A Stella and a Negronne. The Stella has a tiny fig embryo already. I repotted them 10 min ago, they were not root bound.

I also stopped by a local Armstrong nursery (I think it is mostly in California) and picked up a bag of E.B.Stone Edna's Best Potting Soil:

I would say it is excellent for figs! Here is the content:
Contains Composted Fir Bark, Sphagnum Peat Moss, Redwood Compost, Mushroom Compost, Volcanic Pumice, Earthworm Castings, Washed Sand, Kelp Meal, Bat Guano, Feather Meal, Gypsum and Mycorrhizae.Oyster Shell Lime and Dolomite Lime are added as pH adjusters. A natural wetting agent, Yucca shidegera saponin, has been added to help remoisten the product.

It is very fast draining a porous. I highly recommend it, the cost was $5.99 for a large bag

Enjoy them!

Thanks, Bob!

They look good and healthy, I just ordered an LSU purple from an online nursery, should arrive tomorrow. If I would have known about them I would have checked into them cause after doing a little research I found a few disappointed customers from where I ordered. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

One Green World has a fanatastic selection of plant material, but you better hope your order comes in good shape, because they will not replace injured or dead plants. Their customer service leaves much to be desired.

I think their packaging would survive a nuclear war, actually. Maybe they improved it lately?
