Maltese Beauty is off my wish list big thanks to very generous forum member. will soon update with progress on this rooting.

That's awsome guys. Allthough pete I think you will be rooting some this winter after all. I myself got a surprise from a wounderful member as well. I was sent some holler cuttings which I was expecting do to our corrispondence. However also in the package I received as well nero 600. So needless to say I'm as happy as a bug in a rug as well. If all goes well so far I will be adding 8 more kinds of fig to my collection.

ok.. so i guess i'm rooting little more than KB this winter.. but when something like Maltese Beauty comes along.. better root them when they are fresh :) 

Nothing in the mail today.....

Its ok pete, I went to the mail today and got my organic bti larvacide fungus gnat control. Got it from ebay for less than 10 bucks. might be worth looking into. I lost a lot of cuttings last winter due to those little buggers and the reviews on this product are wonderful. Time will tell.

thanks all. they are two strong hard greenwood. if you read any post 'bout me and greenwood.. well.. i'll be trying something different this time. keep them in humidity bin longer till the cutting is hardened. :)

Congrats, guys.  Mine hasn't been growing that great but recently sent up a sucker so I'm hoping for good progress this winter in my greenhouse.  Really looking forward to trying this one.
