One more time/last time good Ebay sellers/members

I wasn't aware of any post entry quarantine, I was under the impression they inspected and that was it. Nurseries import and sell right?

It's really great that you offer the service Joe, I have been meaning to ask you for some time the general cost of the permit. As I understand it you get one permit for the whole import not per plant?

I would like to add my ebay name to the ebay's Good Guy's Seller List willys-a-gas and as of matter of fact I have a wonderful selection of cuttings on ebay right now and please feel free to ask about our Holiday gift wrapping

If I understand correctly, first you need to get a permit to bring plants here, on base of this permit Canada will issue a certificate..
But may be, now rules changed?

Yes, it was confirmed on the OurFigs forum that for Canada you need 1 - an import permit from the USDA 2 - a phyto sanitary certificate issued for the seller from the Canadian Authorities. It was also confirm that for Canada imports at least, the quarantine period was not applicable. Quarantine, however, is applicable for other countries as specified by the USDA...

With regard to Dave as a eBay Good Guy Seller under the Willys-a-gas name, I absolutely second the nomination. I have had numerous dealing with Dave and he is a top notch forum member of both forums, a top notch ebay seller dealing only with fresh, excellent quality cuttings and plants, packages them up beautifully and gets them shipped out immediately. he is on my list of best sellers....

Sorry, Dave... didn't mean to smoke you but folks shouldn't miss out on the excellent cuttings you have out on eBay right now.... even if it means my getting outbid on  items....  :-)

@Devin - a phyto. cert is per shipment.   I am not aware of any quarantine requirement for USA from Canada.   Again I can only see going through all this work for very large orders.

@Olya, I think you hit the nail on the head!

Can I nominate myself too? I decided to toss a at of cuttings up finally so now I can say I'm an eBay seller too lol. Lounster on there.

Lol... no problem, Lou.... Considering how much fig wood you share gratis with members and the care you put into packaging and shipping, I wouldn't hesitate to  bid on anything you posted on eBay, feeling confident that I would be getting your best. Matter of fact, as an example, your Kure Beach cuttings are prime and well worth the small price. That variety leaps out of rootings cups; I put in 4 cuttings a number of weeks ago and now have 4 12-15" plants that keeping lifting the bin cover and saying "Feed Me!!!"...

Thanks Tony for the great review your a good man in my book

Thanks for clearing that up everyone, sorry for pulling the thread off focus a little bit.
