After 24 days away from home, only one fig tree died. It was my one and only Marseilles vs Black. Sob sob sob. The rest are fine and doing well. Even my ginoso fruited while I was away. Miraculously, the house is so clean. No leftover pizzas whatsoever. Thank you my boys.

Don't Cry, I lost many, and its part of Fig Life..LOL   The strong ones will survive. The pruning season is coming and hopefully maybe someone in Canada or Europe can replace this one and give you many more.

Are on the track of the guilty vilain ?
Was it too much or not enough water ?

Too much water hahaha..both my husband and sons water it everyday. So the small tree got 2 doses of water everday!! I left a very precise order to only water them on alternate days. They thought by watering everyday is better. Anyway, they were really sorry that the tree died. The rest of the trees are quite big. Some lost their leaves due to heavy watering but luckily they survived.

Yes, the heartbreak that comes with growing figs. I bought 3 figs while in NJ and so far they are doing well. Still have not died on me. Lost one but I gained another 3.
