About a week ago I found a Brooklyn white fig tree about a foot tall out in the garden, I missed it when I got the other figs in.The fig was out 2 nights where it got down to 0 and it looks fine. Rex.

What do you mean, 0F or 0C.  Big difference.
I had plants out in -5C during the night in early fall but the ground was not frozen so the -5C did not damage the plants and some still had leaves on them but with frozen edges. It does not mean that I will recommend to leave the plants out at such temperature, early fall or late fall because of unpredictability

It was 0F and only at night it did get up to 32f the next day, The fig was in a grow bag, Rex
