Here's my organic sorta self fertilizing pot.
First picture is a 15 gallon pot of horse/goat manure left to compost. I placed it near some of my fruit trees. I water the pot. When I moved the pot I noticed it wouldn't move easily. Roots were preventing me from moving it. The second picture shows the roots from nearby tree finding the it. Tree looks better than it did last 4 years when there was only compost and mulch.
