I read on one of the threads not too long ago that Hardy Chicago had a different name originally. I can't locate that thread to save my soul. Looked at everything for hours.Would someone please remind me what the name was?
The Italian name is supposed to be Mongibello. Here in the states it has also been called Bensonhurst Purple.
Thank you very much, I'm not sure why I couldn't find it.
Tami,http://figs4fun.com/Info/Info_Hardy_Chicago.htmlYou're welcome.
Pete,It's really embarassing when the obvious escapes me! Looked all over the forum and neglected to look at the varital page (blush)Thanks.
Mongibello is the Sicilina name for Mount Etna.
Thank you Dale very much! I have added that to my plant tracker.
