Dear all ,

I've got Osbourne fig from Canada which is said having green/Yellow skin color . ( The tree now is 7 months of age and its not fruited yet ).  
But I found  almost all Osbourne fig cultivar in US website and on this forum has a purple color skin .
Only In Hawaii Fruit net data base that has a green /Yellow Osbourne figs . Amazingly , its said that Osbourne having very sweet taste ( About 25 brix ??) .

Hope I could have correct information about Osbourne fig cultivar , is it Green or Purple fig ..?

The 'Osborn Prolific' cuttings you got from Canada has fruit colour similar to the one shown in your attachment. It is prolific for me here in Ottawa. I hope you get a lot of ripe fruit too.

PS: I just returned from overseas a couple of days ago after 2.5 months. Good to be back.
Many of the cuttings I had started before I left were watered generously in my absence so I may have to restart the Figs for fun.

It is dark color for me. Lives up to its name especially main crop. Reliable variant.

I may revisit the thread in fall again. I have Osborn Prolific from 3 sources including Paul's and will confirm the colours.

The attached image looks exactly like my OP. It will gradually gets darker. In Malaysia, OP
performs real good like Conadria.
