I grow a few hybrid hazels- Ashworth, which is a hazebert from St. Lawrence nursery, Precocious, from Oikos, and some from Badgersett.  If you're interested in any of those, PM me.
Have you had success getting dormant cuttings to root?   I've only tried with semi-softwood material in the mid-summer.

I have not tried to root them but figured it can't be too hard. I've rooted plants like Blackberries, blueberries, chaste trees, elderberries, figs, mulberries, kiwis, nanking cherries, pomegranates, yellow bells, roses, and a few other plants so I think I can do it. I heard only 20% or so will root so if 1 out of every 5 cuttings root I'll be happy. The best way to propagate them is by mound layering but you have to have a plant first:) Thanks for the offer pm on the way.
