so me and my wife are planning on going to myrtle beach towards the end of august, inlaws have a condo in north myrtle. Does anyone have any suggestions on farmers markets, fruit stands, nurseries, food or anything to do other than going to the beach? I plan on going to rabbit ridge in nc on the way home to pick up a persimmon since my bareroot didn't make it. Thanks

I went to two farmers markets down there last year. Had some less than thrilling boiled peanuts.

Well I am in myrtle beach now, its our last day, i wouldve shared pictures but im not a big picture person. Ive been going to farmers markets every day almost looking for fruits, the one in north myrtle had some nice asian pears and some figs. It was the only anywhere I looked that had figs. Pretty sure they were celeste, the lady didnt know what they were. Little watery but they were ok. There are farmers markets 5 or 6 days a week somewhere close by so its nice.
Other than that theres water and sand. getting up early and stopping at Edible landscaping on the way back to pittsburgh. Thanks for reading

Ill be heading back to myrtle beach next month again so I'm bringing back my old thread. Is anyone aware of any nurseries or roadside stands in the area I could stop at?

I'm going there in a couple days. Top tropical isn't too far from there.

ummmm..... try some google searchs .......  might find something cool to see
