this freaky weather gave us bit of sleet, bit of snow and rain all day long. i don't remember last snow this late in durham... i think there was snow in april 20 yrs ago...

This winter just won't go away! If nothing else, it will make us enjoy the spring and summer even more.

if it wasn't for the kids, i would move back to flushing... nah.

We had 60s over the weekend, then woke to snow/sleet on Monday AM! But should it the upper 60s by Wed. I am thinking that last little blast was the last shot of winter here, but then again???

All I know for sure is I am not setting any figlets out until I am SURE it will stay warm!

oh.. sat was wonderful here.. went above 70. nice breezy day. then it turned nasty on sun.. did little doughnut on the off ramp coming to the work. i think i did something to my back. didn't think it was that slippery. oh well.. no damage to car or me.. 

so i was looking at the weather. last night actually stayed above 40. this week, day temp will go up to 80. but next week, the night temp will drop again to 32 or so.. for 5 days in a row. it seems the weather can't make up its mind. 

I've seen 6 inches of snow in Texas in mid April. Last year it was 24F in May and I'm 500 miles south of northern Texas.

Had about 2" here this morning .Heavy and wet.  :/

This surprised all of us here in Southern California, but a few years ago, it snowed on Mother's Day!  I'll never forget it.  Every mountain slope was white against gorgeous blue sky.

I know this winter has been so hard on many of you.  Fingers crossed spring happens soon!

oh.. spring it here.. but it's keep backsliding on night temp. so far it's not as bad as last yr. at least we are getting sun. it will be checking weather everyday till end of april.
