I picked today. I stopped because it got dark. Usually we get about 5 lbs every other day from late June to late July. The weather turned very quickly this year, we went from mid 70's to 90's pretty quickly. A friend of mine came by on Saturday, and left with about 7 lbs. Today I picked 12.5 lbs! I love summer! Blueberry fiesta at Rui's! Actually, I should start a blueberry fiesta...

How many blueberry plants do you have?
It's kinda hard to count. The grove is about 100' long, the plants are old and overgrown, I've been pruning a little every year, but we've only had the property for 3 years. It's about 15 bushes, but some of them have 50-60 canes.
Alright. I used to work on a berry farm. I believe there was 8 rows of blueberries around 150 feet long. Usually I'd spend half the day eating berries. :)
I tried growing blueberries for about 5 years, did soil test amended as needed. just the soil here dont stay acidic very long i guess. those bushes didnt grow much in the 5 years i had them. a shame too, i love blueberries. i was looking at getting honeyberry plants. they are in the honey suckle family and soposed to produce a fruit early, before strawberries get ripe. they clame the fruit taste exactly like blueberries. but now my figs are taking up to much room.
http://www.berriesunlimited.com/honeyberries/cat_19.html Dave, I've looked into those. It would be kind of nice having berries that early. If you have a strong back, you can grow them (and blueberries, for that matter) in pots. It must be a lot easier to keep the soil in a pot acidic. So Travis, you were eating the profits, huh? I say that to my wife all the time, blueberries are her favorite fruit. Imagine her surprise when we realized the house we were about to buy came with an established blueberry grove!
