The 2 days I had them I was very impressed too.

Oooh!
Those hard to grow fungus gnat eating beasts!
I am trying again....

Nice I've tried to grow some without results so far. I'll have to try again.

Your welcome, Barry. They are just as addictive to clone as figs.

Celt- You'll have your own in a few days. I'll pick some nice pitcher plants for you.

Terra forums is a good resource on CP care.

Jason I'm just as interested in you eating a steak as much as the plants.

Oooo, I recognize the fly traps and the pitcher plants, but what are the others???? Curious minds want to know! :D

Very cool. I've been considering adding those to the indoor jungle. Gnats about drove me crazy last year. Fly strips are just not very attractive.

I see sundews and maybe a butterwart too..

You're right Sue those are several different Sundews and a cool looking Butterwort. Sundews and butterworts work great for fungus gnats.

Those are really neat.  Great gift indeed!

nice collection there barry. my sundew gets water whenever i feel like looking at it. they seem to grow without much attention.. it seems there are few more gnats around. it's being well fed.

Those are so neat. I got some sundews  from a forum member and repurposed one of those old turtle bowls. I filled it with (dry) sphagnum moss soaked well in distilled water and plunked in the plants. they did the rest. Whenever it begins to look less than wet, I add a little water from the dehumidifier. Darn things are colonizing. One even trapped a house fly. I think they are eyeing the dog, who should be warned.
