OT carnivorus plants

Does anyone on the forum grown these or have a source in Florida.  I have tried ordering but the plants arrive looking like the went thru a mix master.   Plan on using them in my mini green houses.  tks for your help.

Do you have a specific type of CP in mind? Home Depot seems to have an abundance of Pitcher plants at this time if you don't like online ordering. I have two of them and two seems to be good enough for me; they grow very fast in the right environment.

Here in Louisiana we have a good many to choose from. Which ones you looking for

I bought some from WellSpring, not a huge selection, but they made it Colorado in prefect shape.

I've went through a phase when i was really into C.P. had 12 var. of pitcher plants, Cobra, sundews, pings. and flytraps.  Since I live in north east it was pretty hard to keep them alive in the winter. There are several places online you can buy CP.  let me know if you want more information.

I'm just taking mine out of dormancy today. Have a pitchers, sundews, and VFT. As said above, you can buy them at a big box hardware store, like Lowes or HD, often in the sratch and dent plant aisle. I bought a bunch of VFT a few months ago for 50 cents a piece. Nurseries will also have them. Here in NJ, Wellsweep has a nice selection. Online, California Carnivores has an endless selection.

I buy mine at California Carnivores.  When I order from them online, they always seem to be packed well and arrive in good shape.

thanks everyone for the info.  I have checked the big boxes and so far nothing here yet.  glad to see someone else is a fan of  "dent and ding".  I am looking for sundew butterwort and   some pitcher plants.  the sundew i ordered was the size of a quarter when it arrived.  Yikes I hope they grow fast.   I will have to read up on how  to cultivate them.  The main interest was them eating gnats.   I find it amazing that up north they are in the stores.   Wellspring is not to far from me but they dont allow customer pick up.  hmmmm.   something about insurance.    thanks again everyone.
