Qty: 1 Bonsai

Contents: package of several seeds and a love bracelet.

Somehow, they knew my name and address.  I did buy some LED bulbs that were shipped from China.  Part of me wants to plant seeds to see what grows.  I don't know of anyone else to ask, so I thought I might post it here.  Any ideas what this might be about?  What is the worst that can happen from planting unknown Chinese seeds?

I just read that Bonsai isn't a specific tree, its a normal tree trained to look like a miniature after years of snipping/pruning/training.  Its more of an exercise in patience than a particular type of plant. hmmm.

Uh, strange!  It did come from China?  And you're not afraid it's some other weird thing NOT a bonsai?

did you receive those seeds as an extra item?

Exciting! It would be great fun to plant them and discover what they turn out to be. And you're right, any number of trees, bushes, etc, can be grown as bonsai. On Ebay, I recently saw a beautiful example of a miniature mulberry tree trained in this way, with fruits that were about the regular size.

Maybe it's the sender's way of wishing you a happy Valentine's day! :)

The small package was mailed independently from any other package.  I ordered some LED candelabra lights and more recently (DEC-2015), LED bulbs for under the stove hood from Amazon which were fulfilled from China.  I was also thrown off by Chinese Bonzai which is a Japanese word.  But it looks like it was taken from the Chinese word Penzai where the tradition originated.  I'll throw some in a cup this spring to see what happens.  With my luck, I will become Rick Moranis feeding body parts to a monster plant locked in my basement.
