OT_ Grapes "no segundo andar"

I just found this video... It says that the pruning technique was pioneered in Jundiai, SP, Brazil, where a continuous pruning provides for 2 and sometimes 3 harvesting of Grapes during one season....

Amazing?   I am trying to figure out what they mean by continuous pruning, no diagrams... anyone with grapes out there can explain what this mean?

(Segundo andar = Second floor/ second layer)

on this video, he explains the 3 prunings for 3 harvesting... and show different pictures of the new pruning system.

I can't watch the video right now, but I would presume they prune thoughout the growing season to spur new growth and flowers. Instead of just a winter pruning like one normally does for grapes (would they even have winter there?) it never stops. Or I'm totally wrong, who knows.
